Mika's connection to yoga began from a young age with both of her parents practising. With her family, she would often visit the Mangrove Mountain Ashram, where they would sing and dance in kirtan, embody and connect through family yoga, share and create in karma yoga and set intentions with Havan. These practices instilled the connection to self, spirit and community. As her love for her own practice grew, Mika undertook a six month yoga mentorship with Cassandra Missio. Mika has lived and volunteered at a yogic living community in the Northern rivers, where she fell in love with practising daily and was inspired to become a teacher.
Mika's classes encourage you to follow your own unique intuition, as you flow through the powerful Asana with your breath and feel into the beautiful music she often accompanies her classes with.
