SURGE 2024 Invitational Pitch Event

This series of virtual events is your opportunity to refine your pitch, receive valuable feedback, and where you may pitch to qualify for the SURGE 2024 Competition Semi-Finals (to be conducted virtually or at Stanford University in November, based on feedback). As such, we encourage you to attend all three events to best prepare for the Competition, especially if you have not already won a major national pitch competition

• Prep Support: August 1, 2024 Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST
  • Competitors can ask any questions to event organizers and a small group of competition judges and advisors. We'll make time for you to practice your pitches, get feedback to refine your idea or meet with similar-staged competitors in break-out rooms.
• Prep & Qualifying Event: August 15, 2024 Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST
• Qualifying Event: September 12, 2024 Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST

Prep and Qualifying Event Highlights:

• Pre-Qualifying | 30-Second Pitch Session and Discussions: Present a 30-second pitch followed by quick 2 minutes of rapid-fire feedback from judges
• Qualifying | 4-min. Pitches: Present a 4-minute pitch and engage in deeper discussions with judges and advisors
• Optional Open Networking and Advisor Matching: Connect with peers and potential mentors
