Event description
Step up your digital marketing game! In this session, you’ll learn how to present yourself strategically and sustainably on social media platforms, build and connect with your audience, make sense of the metrics, and useful tools for creating and publishing content.
We will be joined by digital marketing expert Rosie Pentreath, who holds a wealth of experience working with recognisable classical music organisations (Australian Chamber Orchestra, Classic FM) and independent musicians alike.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session so you can ask your own questions about presenting your music online.

About the speaker
Rosie Pentreath is Head of Digital at the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Prior to that, she led the digital team of Classic FM (UK), the world’s biggest arts brand in digital and social media, delivering classical music content to millions of people every week. She had stepped away from classical music prior to that, running social media strategies for Australian reality TV shows, including MasterChef, Married at First Sight, Gogglebox and The X Factor. A music graduate, she started her career as a journalist, soon learning to run websites, content and social media channels as Digital Editor & Staff Writer at BBC Music Magazine. Rosie found OUTcast Podcast in 2021, sharing coming out stories from fascinating and diverse LGBTQ+ people from all over the world.
