Survivor led insights on what quality support and legal advice involves
Survivor led insights
This training will be a unique opportunity to hear directly from those with lived experience of the system.
This training will be useful for:
Experienced and less experienced legal and support professionals working with survivors of trafficking or modern slavery, including those within and those working outside of the MSVCC.
Those working at or with migrant or survivor led groups.
In this session we will go through the different stages of a case and consider what strong, trauma informed practice looks like. This information will be rooted in the perspective and insights of people with lived experience. Our Changemakers will share real life examples of the lasting impact that both good and poor quality legal representation has had on their lives.
This session will be co-produced and co-delivered by two trainers with lived experience of trafficking and modern slavery from ATLEU’s Changemakers.
Please note there will be ground rules that must be adhered to by participants during this session, details of which will be provided ahead of time.
