SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOP

Dr. Kim Polistina from Eternal World has over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing sustainability projects, education and training programmes, and research. Her session will provide an engaging and informative experience, designed to equip participants with practical tools and insights for implementing a systems-thinking approach to sustainability in their personal, community, and professional lives.

Through interactive sessions, attendees will explore key elements of the sustainability domains, the values that underpin them, and the current Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One key element of various sustainability domains is minimising waste. This session will establish the groundwork for our upcoming discussion on the circular economy.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY WORKSHOP

She is a certified Circular Economy Specialist by the Circular Economy Alliance. This session offers participants an understanding of sustainable business practices designed to minimise waste and maximise resource efficiency.

Discussions will cover the core principles of the circular economy. Participants will leave equipped with practical insights. examples (also from the region), and hands-on tools to transition towards more sustainable practices, ultimately contributing to a reduction in environmental impact and fostering innovation in their respective industries. The goal is to make a small business more competitive, save money, and increase the bottom line!
