Sustainability/Social Impact Toastmasters Evening Session
Event description
"The most important thing you can do to fight climate change: talk about it"
Katherine Hayhoe
Sustainability/Social Impact Toastmasters is a group of sustainability/social impact professionals who gather to practise public lectures/product pitches/generally improve their communication and leadership skills.
Agenda
Each meeting has 2-3 prepared speeches followed by evaluations where another member gives constructive feedback pointing out what the speaker did well and what they could improve for next time.
Then we do table topics: impromptu speaking for 1-2 minutes on an unknown topic to help you fluidly answer questions on the fly (great for job interviews!).
Logistics
This meeting will be hosted virtually via Zoom due to the COVID-19 situation
