Ask Me Anything Panel: Community of Sustainability Learners and Practitioners

As part of Sustainability Week, we invite you to join our Ask Me Anything panel — an open and inclusive forum designed to spark meaningful dialogue around pressing sustainability issues.

This session will be centred around Community of Sustainability Learners and Practitioners and brings together a diverse group of experts and practitioners working across this sector at the University.

Anyone is welcome as this is your opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and gain insights from those driving change across the sector.

Meet the panellists:

Krystel Bendle, Youth Project Coordinator, City of Melbourne

Krystel is a Youth Project Coordinator at City of Melbourne, leading youth participation and youth climate initiatives. Collaboration and connection are at the heart of her work, and she enjoys bringing people together for a shared purpose. As an advocate for intergenerational fairness and social justice (including climate justice), she is passionate about creating communities of young people who feel empowered and supported to share their voice and make a difference. She is also on the board for the City Local Learning and Employment Network (cityLLEN).

Linh Do, Director, Wattle Fellowship, The University of Melbourne

Linh Do is a climate justice and social equity advocate with over a decade of experience in media, advocacy, and leadership. She is currently Director of the Wattle Fellowship at the University of Melbourne and serves on several boards including Climate Action Network Australia and the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. Dr Rachel Morgain, Deputy Director of the Melbourne Biodiversity Institute

Dr Rachel Morgain is an interdisciplinary researcher who examines how cultural, social and knowledge systems shape how we care for living things. She has worked extensively with community, business and government partners, including with Traditional Custodian and First Nations people, land managers, and community-led environmental organisations. She co-leads the Melbourne Biodiversity Institute as Deputy Director, helping foster interdisciplinary networks of researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and communities to solve pressing biodiversity and climate challenges..
