The Sustainable Business Awards are New Zealand’s pre-eminent and longest-standing sustainability awards, now in their 18th year. They recognise and celebrate success in sustainability. The event will look a little different this year, but it will retain the fantastic energy and inspiration of past ceremonies!
2020 will be a standout year for business sustainability and resilience in New Zealand. It may even prove to be a major a turning point.
The Covid-19 crisis has presented unique and dramatic challenges to business sustainability. It has spurred important innovations and unprecedented government action. This year’s showcase celebration of the best of NZ sustainable business is sure to go down in the history books.
The Sustainable Business Awards have become the de facto annual gathering for Aotearoa’s sustainable business community. After a challenging year, we will particularly cherish the opportunity to recognise the achievements of New Zealand’s leading sustainable businesses.
This year for the first time, the Awards will be free, accessible to everyone and low-carbon. We have a compelling group of category finalists and anticipate a record turnout. We’re taking the show to a national audience with simultaneous finalist parties all connected by livestream and broadcast to viewers watching at home.
