Event description

As part of Thommo's Community Garden's 'Spring in the Garden' free events we invite you to come along and learn about sustainable gardening and growing food on a budget with John from Harvest Me. 

In this workshop you will learn: 

-Using recycled materials around the garden 

-Cut & Come again

-Growing from veggie cuttings 

-Growing food scraps 

-Growing perennial edibles 

-DIY basic fertilizers & compost. (organic)

-DIY basic pest control methods. (organic).

Please note if you have not been to Thommo's before it is easy to miss, be sure to keep an eye out on your left when approaching the Picton Road traffic lights.
