Event description
To start the 2021 school year the Sustainable Schools Network have designed a series of Sustainable Lunchtime Bytes. Five short online webinars aim to deliver Education for Sustainability and support your school to commence or build upon your environmental and social sustainability programs.
The SSN invite teachers, parents, school leaders and other interested school community members to participate in the following free sessions:
Tuesday 16 Feb: Dr Alison Sammel (Griffith University, School of Education)
Exploring ways of thinking about Education for Sustainability to easily and authentically incorporate it into your daily practice.
Thursday 18 Feb: Eddie Burton (Mudgeeraba State School)

Tuesday 23 Feb: Georgia Liussi (Primary Educator, All Saints Anglican School)
Introducing the Composta and the importance of student agency.
Thursday 25 Feb – Erin Merrin (All Saints Anglican School)
Sustainability is not just the environment: engaging senior students in social justice issues.
Tuesday 2 March – Katie Norman (Sustainable Schools Network)
Building partnerships for change: the importance of a whole of school approach.
All webinars will be held on Zoom and be delivered from 1:30-2pm. Please prepare your questions as all presenters will allow time to support you.
