Event description

Please note - this workshop has had a change of facilitator. Daniel Schuurman has been replaced with Sarah Smuts-Kennedy. The new event is here

Join us in Whenuapai on 15th February for an in depth look at the fascinating subject of SOIL.

We are very excited to have expert agronomist Daniel Schuurman as our workshop facilitator.  Daniel is one of New Zealand’s leading regenerative horticulturists, director of Biologix , and co-creator and facilitator of the Earthworkers: Regenerative Horticulture 101 course.

Daniel will take us through the fundamentals of soil, from formation and structure, through microbiology and the soil food web, expanding into the principles and practices of 'biology- first' soil improvement. Daniel is a highly sought after consultant and mentor in the horticulture and agriculture sectors, so this workshop is one not to be missed! Please note that we need to charge slightly more than our usual workshop price to cover Daniel's costs.

Following the presentation we will tour Solstice Organics to see Daniel's ideas in action and finish with a shared lunch - bring a plate.

To find out more about Daniel and the work he is involved in, look here: https://biologix.co.nz/

date and time: Saturday 15th February 10 - 1pm
