Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification training workshop - Albany

Join AWRI and Wines of WA (WoWA) for a one-day, in-person sustainability certification training workshop – open to all WoWA members. Workshops will be held in Albany and Bunbury to ensure accessibility for all businesses wanting to complete this training for Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification.
Workshop Details
This comprehensive training covers requirements for Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member certification including the Freshcare Australian Wine Industry Standards for Sustainable Practice (AWISSP):
· AWISSP - Viticulture for vineyards.
· AWISSP - Winery for wineries OR wine producers who do not have a vineyard or winery.
· Combined AWISSP Viticulture + Winery for businesses with both a winery and vineyard/s.
Workshop Subsidised Costs:
· AWISSP Viticulture: $400 (inc GST)
· AWISSP Winery: $400 (inc GST)
· Combined AWISSP Viticulture + Winery: $600 (inc GST)
The Sustainable Winegrowing Australia trust mark may be used by certified members. To qualify, wines bearing the trust mark on wine labels, must be made from at least 85% of fruit sourced from Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certified member vineyard/s and made in a certified member winery. Refer to the Trust Mark rules and guidelines for more detail.
Eligibility
· APC member
· Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member, must join prior to attending the training course.
· One subsidised viticulture and one subsidised winery training course per business.
Limited places, minimum 10 participants.

The Agrifood and beverage voucher program supports small-to-medium enterprises across regional and metropolitan WA to access expert advice to build resilience and sustainability, competitiveness, scale, and export preparedness into their operations.
Up to $20,000 per business, with 50:50 co-contribution, to access professional services with up to 2 vouchers under 5 categories.
