Join soil scientist Declan McDonald (and a visit to his farm)

Declan will discuss:

  • The importance of healthy soil biology for production 
  • Methods farmers can use to improve the health of their soil
  • How healthy soil functions during dry times
  • Options for dry conditions, including de-stocking

After the presentation in the hall Declan will take us for a walk on his property in Kardella South, where he’s used regenerative agricultural practices for 5 years.

Declan is a Principal Soil Scientist with ReGen Soils.  He has extensive experience working in agriculture and production horticulture. Skilled in Regenerative Agriculture Declan has worked closely with farmers and other land managers on a range of projects with Landcare and Producer groups.
