Expect a relaxed, welcoming and facilitated two-hour session with opportunities to connect with other local women in business, take part in guided conversation and reflect on what’s happening in your business.
The aim is for you to leave with fresh perspective, useful connections and a practical next step you can take into the month ahead.
- Do I need to prepare anything?
No preparation is needed.
You don’t need an elevator pitch, presentation or stack of business cards. Simply come as you are and be willing to join the conversation.
- Will I have to introduce myself or speak in front of everyone?
There may be opportunities to introduce yourself and contribute to the conversation, but SustainHer Connect is not about putting people on the spot or making anyone perform.
The session is facilitated to create a supportive environment where you can participate in a way that feels natural.

SustainHer Connect Barossa is held on the third Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

SustainHer Connect Barossa is held at Barossa Chateau in Lyndoch, South Australia.
It’s conveniently located for women travelling from across the Barossa Valley and surrounding communities, including Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Angaston, Gawler, Kapunda, Eden Valley and Mount Pleasant.
- Is there parking?
Yes. Free onsite parking is available at Barossa Chateau.
- Will there be coffee or refreshments?
Yes. Your ticket includes a tea or coffee along with freshly baked scones.

- What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable and like yourself.
There’s no formal dress code and no need to dress for a traditional corporate networking event. Smart casual or everyday business attire is perfectly appropriate.
- Can I attend if I don’t live in the Barossa Valley?
Absolutely.
While SustainHer Connect Barossa is designed to help build stronger connections among women in business across the Barossa and surrounding region, you don’t need to live in the Barossa to attend.
- Will photographs or video be taken at the event?
Photography and/or video may be captured during SustainHer Connect for marketing, promotional and archival purposes.
By purchasing a ticket and attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in event photography or video. If you have concerns about being photographed, please speak with the host when you arrive.
