SustainHer Connect: The Connection Morning

Good connections change how we do business.

What if the most valuable insight you take away from a business event doesn’t come from a speaker, but from a conversation with another woman in the room?

This November, SustainHer Connect is doing something a little different.

There won’t be a guest speaker.

Instead, we’re making space for the knowledge, experience, ideas and generosity that already exist within our community.

The Connection Morning is a thoughtfully facilitated gathering for women in business who want to build genuine professional relationships, learn from one another and walk away with something useful.

Because sometimes the right conversation can help you see a challenge differently, discover an opportunity or meet someone you didn’t know you needed to know.

What to expect

Three guided Connection Conversations

Meet women you might not otherwise have had the opportunity to speak with.

These aren’t awkward networking exercises or rushed introductions. They’re relaxed, purposeful conversations designed to help you get to know the woman behind the business, understand what she’s working on and discover where experience or connections might be shared.

Two Collaborative Hot Seats

Two women will bring a real business question to the room.

Together, we’ll explore their questions, ask thoughtful clarifying questions and share experiences, perspectives and practical ideas.

You don’t need to be an expert to contribute. Often, an experience you’ve had or a question you ask can help someone else find clarity.

Would you like to be considered for a Hot Seat? You can express your interest during registration.

A conversation about the future of SustainHer

We also want to hear from you.

What kind of support would make a real difference to you and your business? What would you love SustainHer to create more space for?

Your voice matters in shaping the community we’re building together.

Time to turn connection into action

Before we finish, you’ll have space to reflect on who you’d like to reconnect with and one practical step you want to take after the morning.

This morning is for you if…

  • You’re a woman running, building or growing a business.

  • You value genuine relationships over collecting contacts.

  • You’d love fresh perspectives on the opportunities or challenges you’re navigating.

  • You want to meet other women in business across Mount Barker, the Adelaide Hills and surrounding areas.

  • You’re new to SustainHer and looking for a welcoming place to connect.

  • You’ve attended before and would love more time for meaningful conversations.

You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.

You don’t need an elevator pitch.

You don’t need to sell anything, have all the answers or share anything you’d rather keep private.

Come as you are. Bring your experience, curiosity and willingness to connect.

What we hope you’ll take away

You’ll have the opportunity to meet women you genuinely connect with, gain a useful perspective, contribute to another woman’s experience and leave knowing what you’d like to do next.

Not every valuable connection needs to become a sale or referral.

Sometimes it becomes a collaboration, a friendship, a different way of thinking or simply the reassurance that another woman understands.

That’s the kind of community SustainHer is building.

Connection → Clarity → Action.

We’d love to welcome you into the room.

Reserve your place for The Connection Morning.

What to expect

Each month, you’ll experience:

A relaxed, welcoming environment
Real conversations (not pitching or selling)
Guided discussion and reflection
A supportive Adelaide Hills business community

You don’t need to have it all figured out to attend.

You simply need to be willing to show up honestly.
