Sutter at Malung Meal RSVP

Scandinavian Music, Stories & Dance

Ross Sutter and Art Bjorngjeld are familiar faces to many in Roseau County. Ross has worked with third-grade students in the Roseau Schools for the past 30 years, while Ross and Art have performed together at libraries throughout Northwestern Minnesota and at the Scandinavian Festival at the Malung Community Center.

This time, they’ll be joined by storyteller and musician Rose Arrowsmith for an evening celebrating Swedish and Norwegian heritage through music, stories, songs, dance tunes—and even a joke or two.

Rose specializes in the folk stories and songs of Sweden and has performed throughout Minnesota and across the country, including many years at Norsk Høstfest. She also performs with Ross in their annual Julglädje Christmas show at the American Swedish Institute.

Expect plenty of stories, Scandinavian music and dancing, and a fun evening for all ages.

Cow Creek Bakery will also serve a meal. PLEASE RSVP; suggested donation: $20 per adult.
