SVA Springfield Planting with Te Ara Kākāriki
University of Canterbury Students' Association
Christchurch, New Zealand
Event description
Kia Ora SVAers!
On Sunday the 5th of October we will be joining Te Ara Kākāriki for their biggest native tree planting of the year in Springfield. The goal of the project is to contribute to the native corridor that will eventually link the Canterbury Foothills with Te Waihora Lake Ellesmere.
We will meet outside the UCSA building at 8.45am and provide transport for you out to the planting site. We will aim to return to the UCSA by 4.30pm.
Lunch and morning tea will be provided and we can cater to dietary requirements. Make sure you bring warm clothes, appropriate ourdoor footwear, plenty of water and a hat.
Can't wait to see you there! 🌳🦜🤠
