What can we achieve together in Swan Hill?
We know when the Not-for-Profit (NFP) sector thrives, the whole community benefits.
Over the next five years, through the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) Victoria program, FRRR and the Swan Hill community will work together to strengthen Swan Hill's NFP sector. The aim is to work collectively and advocate more effectively on shared issues, contribute to a flourishing community and achieve long-term impact across agreed priority areas.
The engaging and participatory workshop will:
- Create a shared vision for Swan Hill's community organisations
- Identify agreed goals for the NFP sector over the next five years
- Develop a map of community assets (knowledge, organisations, networks)
- Prioritise next best steps for FRRR's IRCF program in Swan Hill.
Who should attend?
Staff, committee members and volunteers from NFP organisations and community groups in Swan Hill* as well as other interested stakeholders such as local Council, business chamber, and First Nations organisations.
*Representatives from smaller nearby towns connected to Swan Hill through services and other means are welcome to attend.
