Join us for a candid and inspiring roundtable bringing together women at different stages of their careers and across the screen industry. From landing that first opportunity and finding your people, to building a body of work, navigating setbacks and figuring out what comes next.
Created with students, emerging filmmakers and grassroots screen practitioners in mind, Stages of Women in Screen is your chance to ask questions, hear real-world insights and get a glimpse of the many different paths a career in screen can take.

Jessica Langdon - Viscera - Viscera is a Special Makeup Effects Studio offering quality prosthetics, SFX makeup, creature effects, life casting, blood rigs, silicone props and theatrical makeup. Based in Boolroo Perth, Viscera is able to create, produce and deliver services for screen, theatre, visual arts and advertising across Australia. Viscera was founded by Co-directors Erin Coates & Jessica Langdon, whose combine their backgrounds across visual arts, film, theatre and tv.
Aaryn Bath - Writer/Director/Production Designer - Aaryn Bath is a Perth based filmmaker whose work spans writing, directing and production design. From a young age she has been telling stories by scribbling in notebooks, writing novellas in Microsoft word and creating short films with her Sims 2 characters.
Whether it’s directing her own work or using her art department skills to help other filmmakers stories’ to life, Aaryn is drawn to gritty character driven pieces that feel honest and authentic. Her goal is to create art and stories that make people laugh, cry and ultimately understood.
Stephanie Senior - Director/Cinematographer - Stephanie Senior is a Perth-based director and cinematographer working primarily across music video and narrative film, alongside camera operating on long-form productions. She has collaborated with artists including San Cisco, Pond, EDIE, Drea and Noah Dillon, and has worked as a C Camera Operator on BINGE’s The Twelve: Season 3 and Netflix’s Breakers.
Daniella Unger - Editor - Daniella Unger is an Editor and Assistant Editor working across documentary and narrative film and television. Having recently edited a few documentary episodes for SBS and Discovery+, she is also now also expanding into scripted drama. Currently, Daniella is assisting and assembling scenes for Two Birds, a Stan production shooting at Perth Film Studios.
Crystal McCallum - Locations Manager - Crystal C. McCallum is a Perth-based Location Manager, Producer and locations professional with more than 30 years’ experience across film, television, commercial production and events. With 16 years specialising in Location Management in WA, she has worked across productions associated with Warner Bros., Stan, Binge, ABC, SBS and Australian free-to-air television. A member of the ALMG and WA Representative for the LMGI Oceanic Region, Crystal brings a wealth of experience, industry insight and a passion for the people and places behind screen production.

Come for a fun night of networking and showcasing WA talent, supporting women in filmmaking, and sharing the love for all things film.
We’re all about celebrating the female perspective and creating a positive environment for interaction between legendary female filmmakers. We love to support emerging and indie filmmakers, especially nurturing Western Australia’s growing film industry.

Aaryn Bath is a Perth based filmmaker whose work spans writing, directing and production design. Crystal McCallum
Crystal C. McCallum is a Perth-based Location Manager, Producer and locations professional with more than 30 years’ experience across film, television, commercial production and events. With 16 years specialising in Location Management in Western Australia, Crystal has worked across productions associated with Warner Bros., Stan, Binge, ABC, SBS and Australian free-to-air television, with selected credits including The Twelve (Seasons 2 & 3), Invisible Boys, Hounds of Love, How to Please a Woman, The Claremont Murders, Sweet As, H is for Happiness, Itch (Seasons 1 & 2) and The Heights. Earlier in her career, Crystal spent 15 years in South Africa producing commercial and experiential campaigns, including projects recognised with Cannes Media Lions. Her career across different areas of production has given her a broad perspective on the creative and practical realities of working in the screen industry, while her years in Location Management have provided deep knowledge of Western Australian locations and the people and processes behind filming on location. A member of the Australian Location Managers Guild (ALMG) and the Western Australia Representative for the Oceanic Region of the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI), Crystal brings to the panel a wealth of industry experience and a practical perspective on building a career in the screen industry, navigating change, creating opportunities, and the importance of collaboration and relationships throughout a long career.
