Join us for a candid and inspiring roundtable bringing together women at different stages of their careers and across the screen industry. From landing that first opportunity and finding your people, to building a body of work, navigating setbacks and figuring out what comes next.
Created with students, emerging filmmakers and grassroots screen practitioners in mind, Stages of Women in Screen is your chance to ask questions, hear real-world insights and get a glimpse of the many different paths a career in screen can take.

Jessica Langdon - Viscera - Viscera is a Special Makeup Effects Studio offering quality prosthetics, SFX makeup, creature effects, life casting, blood rigs, silicone props and theatrical makeup. Based in Boolroo Perth, Viscera is able to create, produce and deliver services for screen, theatre, visual arts and advertising across Australia. Viscera was founded by Co-directors Erin Coates & Jessica Langdon, whose combine their backgrounds across visual arts, film, theatre and tv.
Aaryn Bath - Writer/Director/Production Designer - Aaryn Bath is a Perth based filmmaker whose work spans writing, directing and production design. From a young age she has been telling stories by scribbling in notebooks, writing novellas in Microsoft word and creating short films with her Sims 2 characters.
Whether it’s directing her own work or using her art department skills to help other filmmakers stories’ to life, Aaryn is drawn to gritty character driven pieces that feel honest and authentic. Her goal is to create art and stories that make people laugh, cry and ultimately understood.
Stephanie Senior - Director/Cinematographer - Stephanie Senior is a Perth-based director and cinematographer working primarily across music video and narrative film, alongside camera operating on long-form productions. She has collaborated with artists including San Cisco, Pond, EDIE, Drea and Noah Dillon, and has worked as a C Camera Operator on BINGE’s The Twelve: Season 3 and Netflix’s Breakers.
Daniella Unger - Editor - Daniella Unger is an Editor and Assistant Editor working across documentary and narrative film and television. Having recently edited a few documentary episodes for SBS and Discovery+, she is also now also expanding into scripted drama. Currently, Daniella is assisting and assembling scenes for Two Birds, a Stan production shooting at Perth Film Studios.
What: SWAN - Perth International Women In Film Festival. West Australia’s own film festival dedicated to celebrating powerful women in film from all over Australia and around the world! Come for a fun night of networking and showcasing WA talent, supporting women in filmmaking, and sharing the love for all things film.
We’re all about celebrating the female perspective and creating a positive environment for interaction between legendary female filmmakers. We love to support emerging and indie filmmakers, especially nurturing Western Australia’s growing film industry.

Aaryn Bath
Aaryn Bath is a Perth based filmmaker whose work spans writing, directing and production design.
