Swansea Hit & Run + Bleedingintoradio + The Schmidts
Description
Swansea Hit & Run are the pioneers of Sydney trip-hop, using beats, samplers, guitar and bass for a show that is simply psychedelic. Their gig this Thursday evening is dedicated to the memory of the wonderful Hiske Weijers, and will feature special guest sax/percussionist Hugh Worrell.
Bleedingintoradio is a Sydney indie-rock group featuring Steve Clark (Died Pretty) and Ben Aylward (Fabels, Swirl, Syntax Error). Characterised by melancholic poetic lyricism on love, loss and life, their sound is a beautiful collision of art and music.
The Schmidts return to the Pony with their soulful lyrics and unique combination of guitars and violin…for a compelling sound that offers hints of Bob Dylan’s landmark “Desire” album.
