Event description

An amazing “breathtaking” healing Saturday morning in the beautiful Mount Maunganui.

Get out of your comfort zone and join us for this unique opportunity to connect to yourself and likeminded people to breathe and heal together. An expansive event which includes breathwork, ice baths, sauna, yoga and meditation.

We will guide you through and immersive breathwork session followed by a hot sauna and ice bath. The second part of the event will be filled with meditation, connection and inspiring speeches.

1. Movement/Yoga:  A short, energizing yoga session to bring you into your body, open up and prepare you for a transformational journey. Move through the week's tensions and make room for what is to come.

2. Breathwork: Breathing is the most fundamental of our body’s physical processes and our most intimate companion—yet most of us give it little to no thought. However, once fully acknowledged and harnessed, the power of the breath is unlimited. It can ease stress and anxiety, boost energy and stamina, enhance self-confidence, sharpen the ability to focus, strengthen the quality of voice, and even relieve pain.

3. Ice Bath: Cold exposure has a ton of benefits, from enhancing immune function to aiding weight loss. But before science got its hands on it, for thousands of years cold exposure has been used to bring us closer to and into greater harmony with ourselves and nature.

Ancient arts like the Japanese Misogi have taught us that challenging our body through something hard like ice baths will connect us to our higher selves. With the modern world often leaving us feeling out of balance and out of touch with nature, cold exposure can work wonders.

4. Sauna:
For thousands of years, cultures from around the world have used the healing power of saunas. Some of the main benefits of sauna are:  Detoxification: saunas can help stimulate cells to release and mobilize accumulated heavy metals for elimination through sweat.Muscle Recovery: The heat generated by a sauna can help to relax muscles and ease tension and soreness throughout the bod
Stress Relief:  Saunas promote relaxation by helping to balance the body’s stress hormones. Additionally, similar to exercise, sauna use increases endorphins, the happiness hormones.
Immune Health:  Sauna causes us to sweat, which helps to strengthen the immune response. Several studies have documented that the deep elimination of toxins and waste improves overall immune function and resistance to illness.

5. Yoga Nidra: A 20 minutes Yoga Nidra Session to wind you down. Yoga Nidra is a yogic sleep technique which induces complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It enables us to dive deep down into the realms of the subconscious mind, releasing and relaxing mental tensions.Yoga Nidra gives the mind and body an opportunity to repair themselves. Yoga Nidra helps reset your nervous system, restores the ideal balance of body chemistry. It Improves memory, productivity, focus and reduces stress, anxiety, and fatigue.
