Description

Sweet Pea Fall is a 5 week long all-outdoors program for grades K-5 designed to engage students with hands-on learning!

Activities include gardening, nature-play, taste-testing, caring for our MCF hens, and more! As with all of our programs, the focus will be on getting the children's hands, bodies, and minds engaged in exploration around the farm.

Sweet Pea will meet from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM every Saturday for 5 weeks.

Dates for class: 09/19, 09/26, 10/03, 10/10, 10/17

Refunds are only provided in the event that Sweet Pea is cancelled due to low registration, as we may not be able to fill your spot!

Refund policy

Cancellations & Refunds: Refunds are only provided in the event that Sweet Pea is cancelled due to low registration, as we may not be able to fill your spot! Please consider using your refund to make a donation to support MCF’s mission If a program is canceled by MCF due to insufficient registration, a 100% refund will be offered. If we must cancel a one-time program due to inclement weather, that day’s session will be rescheduled for an available rain date. No refunds will be given after a session begins. Due to the high demand and small group size of our programs, we cannot offer partial refunds for missed sessions. For any additional unexpected cancellations, that day’s program will be rescheduled for an available make-up day based on staff availability. A $25 administrative fee per individual registrant applies to all other refunds.

Montclair Community Farms is a project supported by a community coalition including Montclair History Center, Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Essex County 4-H Program, Montclair Health Department, Montclair State University, Home Corps, Essex County Schools of Technology, and community members.
