SWEET WHIRL with SOPHIE MARCHEFF

A special Silly Season event : Sweet Whirl plays songs new and old on bass, accompanied by guitarist Sophie Marcheff, in the intimate surrounds of One Star Gallery. Sweet Whirl is the songwriting project of Esther Edquist. Her album How Much Works was released on Chapter Music in 2020, she's been working on a second album ever since.

Sweet Whirl's performance will take place in the main gallery with an exhibition of photography by Matthew Ellery focussing on the live music scene in Melbourne.  Also on a music theme in the rear gallery room will be paintings and artwork by Tracy Ellerton. All exhibited works are for sale.
