The Women’s Orchestra of Arizona presents Swept Away. Led by Artistic Director & Founder Livia Gho and Associate Conductor Cindy H. Petty, the program features Emilie Mayer’s stormy Faust Overture, Op. 42 alongside Sergei Rachmaninoff’s lush, romantic Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring guest soloist Fanya Lin on piano.

Hailed as a “striking interpreter” with “committed and heartfelt” performances by Musical America and The New York Times, Steinway Artist Fanya Lin captivates audiences worldwide with her fiery and charismatic stage presence. Her orchestral appearances include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (UK), Toruń Symphony (Poland), Orquestra Sinfônica do Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), New Art Symphony (Taiwan), Hiroshima Tafel Orchestra (Japan), Utah Symphony (US), among others. Her concerto album Rhapsodic was selected as Textura’s Top 20 Classical Picks (2024). She is Associate Professor of Practice in Piano at the University of Arizona.
