More about Corrina Bonshek

With 20 years of composing across concert halls, and festivals to her name, composer and sound artist Corrina Bonshek (PhD Western Sydney University) creates listening experiences that provoke wonder at the beauty of nature, the cosmos and the human. Her music has been described as ‘gentle, reflective’ (Irish Times), ‘meditative and euphonious’ (Journal of Music), and ‘strongly connected to the natural world’ (Limelight). This performance precedes a 5-country, collaborative European tour of “Swimming through a Universe of Sound’ with Finish/Australia conductor Majella Clarke, Korvat Auki Ensemble, Music School of Lisbon, Luis Bittencourt and more. Corrina Bonshek & Collaborators is supported by the City of Gold Coast. This experience is sponsored by Better Earthing, the only Australian maker of indoor earthing products for health and wellbeing.
