It's time to let go of the cold winter days and bring on the
'Swing into Spring' with live music, local Jazz Trio 'Spyral'
Rachelle from Augie's, inspiration came from a most amazing experience in Harlem NYC in 2016 at an amazing Jazz Cafe called "Red Rooster'. A 13 piece jazz band and amazing singer fronted guests enjoying a long brunch with stunning food and cocktails.
We wish to support and promote a local Melbourne based jazz trio featuring Tristan Meffre on tenor saxophone, Charlie Rank on double bass, and Alfie Pleasance on drums.
Their repertoire blends carefully with original compositions contributed by each member. Influenced by the energy of Joe Henderson, Joe Lavano, Antonio Sanchez and the modern ethos of New Jazz.

- Can I just listen to the music?
Yes, you can pay the $10 cover fee and be seated in the outskirts of the event, or if tables sold out, standing room.
- Can I book a table?
Yes, you can book a table if you are dining in, with all guests at the table ordering from the food menu and drinks from our cocktail or coffee menu
- Can I bring my dog?
Yes, as we are a dog friendly cafe, you are welcome to bring your dog, on a leash at all times. However, your dog must be non reactive and comfortable with loud noise and a lot of people.
The tables for guests with dogs are on the front and side terraces in line with council regulations.

Our fabulous local talented trio will be playing pieces from their repertoire of inspiration in 2, 40-45 minute sets
- Can we stay after the trio has finished?
Absolutely you can. We are open to 3pm
