Swoon Bookstore presents: Spicy Showcase
Event description
Come get spicy with us (for free)!
Swoon Bookstore is a queer-owned and ran bookstore that operates with intent; our intent is to provide community and to hold space in a way that exceeds a mainstream bookstore. We delight in working with smaller, indie authors and providing unexpected experiences along the way. We are audacious dreamers with a belief in uplifting and supporting others.Â
We are stoked to help host Spicy Showcase, a free reading by the latest cohort to finish up their six-week adventure with "Writing Spicy" - a community-styled writing group which is facilitated by Sinclair Sexsmith. Help give our creatives some support and love by joining us online and make your brunch super sexy without having to leave the house.Â

About Writing SpicyÂ
Open to everyone, you don't need to be a published author to get some good stuff from joining this class! With Sinclair Sexsmith guiding you, you'll deep dive into the craft of writing dirty stories. You'll look deeply at the parts of an erotic story: the opening paragraphs, the first consent moment, the climax (orgasmic or not), and finally the ending - and hopefully fostering community with your peers along the way!
