SWWIMM: International Women's Day - Warren-Blackwood Networking Event

Register NOW, for the first the networking event in the Warren-Blackwood hosted by South West Women in Infrastructure, Mining & Minerals Inc. (SWWIMM).
This year, International Women's Day on 8 March coincides with the WA state election. SWWIMM have extended an invitation to electoral candidates representing the hotly contested Warren-Blackwood electorate, to network with attendees and share their initiatives to support women working in infrastructure, mining, minerals and manufacturing.
We look forward to welcoming all local and travelling women and supporting allies to this event, where you are encouraged to network, meet new people, and ask your questions directly to our special guests:
- Jackie Jarvis MLC, Member for South West Region, WA Labor
- Wade De Campo, Liberal candidate for Warren-Blackwood, and
- Bevan Eatts (TBC), Nationals candidate for Warren-Blackwood

- 6.00 - 6.10pm Introduction from SWWIMM Board
- 6.10 - 6.25pm Introductions from our special guests
- 6.25 - 7.00pm Q&A from the audience to our special guest panel
- 7.00 - 7.30pm Networking with informal Q&A
Come prepared with your questions or be inspired by conversations on the evening to fuel your curiosity. Suggested topics for questions includes:
- Expansion of industry in the regions
- Improving gender equity in industry, including government departments
- Initiatives to promote companies to invest in gender equitable solutions
- Support and access to STEM and trade courses in regions
- Access to childcare
- Road and infrastructure plans
