Hello Herbies,
We are over the moon to be hosting our next talk with Sally Kingsford Smith, a brilliant herbalist and educator with decades of clinical experience, who was also a student of the legendary Dorothy Hall!
Sally will be taking us all on a journey through a topic that is of huge interest, and something we don't learn about in our courses anymore; Drop dosing!
Drop dosing is a traditional form of posology that brings a less is more approach to dosing herbs, something that is also a very sustainable way of clinical practice. This talk will include all the need to knows and the philosophy behind this fascinating traditional way of dosing herbal medicines.
This is an absolute must attend talk for anyone who practices with herbal medicines and will be both educational and inspirational for students and seasoned practitioners alike.
The event will be held at our usual space, room 3.10 on level 3 at the Surry Hills campus of Torrens University, Sydney.
The talk will begin at 6:00 arrival time and a 6:30pm start. As usual there will be light snacks and refreshments provided.

A little more about Sally:
Sally is a Dorothy Hall trained herbalist and reiki master, who is happiest when combining her love of people, plants, and tissue salts in her practice, and as an educator. Stepping into her crone years now, she feels that sharing the knowledge she’s gained in life is incredibly important. Sally is passionate about continuing Dorothy’s legacy for all current and future herbalists through the online course she has developed and through mentoring Estuary Learning members. She brings her own clinical experiences into all aspects of her work, including regular appearances as a presenter at the annual Wise Women Gatherings, the Estuary Learning Earth Medicine Conferences and last year at the NHAA Herbal Medicine Summit.
