    Hello Herbies,

    We are so honoured and privileged to be hosting our next talk with Sue Stevens, who not only has a masters in both human nutrition and counselling & psychotherapy, but is also a practicing clinician of 26 years, and a highly regarded lecturer of 15 years. 

    Sue will be taking us all on a journey through a topic that is of huge interest to us all; female hormone metabolism! 

    This talk will include all the need to knows of this complex and fascinating subject plus:

    • how to utilise the best standard and functional pathology available
    • how to therapeutically manage imbalances in this area

    This is an absolute must attend talk for all of us who are treating, or aiming to treat female hormonal health within our clinical practice. Hormones are a growing area of interest and Sue has helped thousands of people address issues in this area and return to health. We are so lucky to be able to receive her expertise on this topic.

    The event will be held at our usual space, room 3.10 on level 3 at the Surry Hills campus of Torrens University, Sydney. 

    The talk will begin at 6:00 arrival time and a 6:30pm start. As usual there will be light snacks and refreshments provided.

    A little more about Sue:

    Sue Stevens

    Sue has been in clinical practice for over 26 years and in that time, she has consulted and guided 1000’s of people through their healthcare journey. After studying for over 10 years, and acquiring 3 post graduate qualifications, Sue works to understand the nature of clients health concerns, using traditional thinking and the best evidence-based information to create holistic, manageable, and individualised treatment plans.

    Sue integrates standard and functional pathology results alongside naturopathic philosophy to uncover the drivers of imbalance. Her areas of specialty include digestive issues, sleep disturbances, mood and nervous system imbalances and supporting women to transition through menopause with a ‘spring in their step’.  

    Professional Experience  
    Sue has taught for over 15 years at many colleges and continues now at Torrens
    University, helping to educate the next generation of Naturopaths, Herbalists and
    Nutritionists. She mentors new graduates supporting and guiding them through their
    early clinical practice.

    Qualifications 
    Master’s in human nutrition from Deakin University 
    Master’s in counselling and Psychotherapy (current) from Torrens University
    Graduate Certificate Learning and Training from Torrens University  
    Graduate Certificate in Complementary Medicine from University Tasmania
    Bachelor of Medicine Management with Professional Honours in Complementary
    Medicine from University of Tasmania 
    Advanced Diploma Naturopathy, Advanced Diploma Nutrition, Diploma Remedial
    Massage from Nature Care College
