Travel instructions

We strongly advise all visitors to catch public transport to Carriageworks, as we anticipate high attendance alongside other events to be held concurrently at Carriageworks. TRAINS Carriageworks is easily accessible by train. Walk 8 minutes from Redfern Station, 10 minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station. BUSES Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, just a 5 minute walk from Carriageworks. PARKING Limited on-site parking (very very limited!) is available at the end of Carriageworks Way, including limited disabled parking bays. Entry is via 229 Carriageworks Way. If you must drive, we strongly encourage you to pre-plan where you will park, with street parking and nearby South Eveleigh and Wilson Parking bays as possible options. You may also wish to park along the train line at another location to then catch public transport for the remainder of the journey, or opt to book a ride share like Uber or catch a cab.

Accessible parking

Limited on-site parking (very very limited!) is available at the end of Carriageworks Way, including limited disabled parking bays. These are offered on a first-come-first-served basis at Carriageworks. There are also accessible parking bays along Wilson Street.
