Sydney Community-Building Event: Jewish Council of Australia

The Jewish Council of Australia warmly invites our Jewish supporters to a special evening of connection — a chance to come together, reflect, and build a community grounded in justice, courage, and care.

We are gathering in a devastating moment. The ongoing genocide in Gaza — including Israel’s deliberate starvation of the population — demands a clear and urgent response. As Jewish people, we cannot stay silent. We know too well the horrors of dehumanisation and collective punishment. And we know the power of saying, clearly and proudly: not in our name.

More and more Jewish people are speaking out, rejecting the false claim that all Jews support Israel. We are part of a growing movement — and it is community that will sustain us. This gathering is a space to meet others who share your values, to speak from the heart, and to help shape the future of the Jewish Council of Australia.

Whether you’re already deeply involved or just finding your voice, we want you in the room. Bring your questions, your hopes, your grief, and your fire. Meet our Executive and Advisory Committee, share food and drinks with us, and come together in a warm, inclusive space where you can be fully yourself — Jewish and unflinchingly committed to justice.
