IPART public hearing – SDP water price review
IPART is holding a public hearing on 21 February 2023 for our review of the maximum prices that Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Ltd (SDP) can charge for its water supply and security services in the Greater Sydney region from 1 July 2023.
The public hearing will provide an overview of the key issues identified for the price review and our proposed approach to determining the prices. Most importantly, it will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and the community to ask questions and comment on the key issues for the review. The public hearing will be in-person at the Sydney Masonic Centre. An online option will also be available for those that cannot attend in-person.
We released our Issues Paper on 29 November 2022 and we are seeking community feedback on the issues raised by 31 January 2023. We will consider all comments made/received at the public hearing and stakeholder views raised in submissions before releasing our Draft Report in April 2023.
