Event description

Namaste,

Join us for this powerful healing circle as we take you on a journey to the original sound of existence, Om. In the Vedic tradition, Om is the primordial sound, the sacred mantra, the vibration of the universe, the phonological manifestation of the Absolute. Om is more than just a sound; it is a representation of the ultimate reality and the cosmic vibration that underlies all existence.

Philosophy of Om- In yoga philosophy Om is considered a sacred syllable. Before we commence our chanting circle, we will first look at the philosophy of Om and how this powerful sound and vibration has a part to play in all of existence.

Chakras- During this practice you will work a lot with the throat chakra, known as the vishuddha. The chakras are the seven wheels of energy in the body, starting from the crown of your head and down the body to the base of your spine. Chakras can be described as energy vortexes, spiralling wheels of energy. When they are spinning properly, each chakra allows energy to flow and move freely so that you are moving in harmony and alignment. The throat chakra acts as the body’s communication hub. It’s where you find your voice, speak your truth. This chakra is associated with speaking up and expressing yourself, but also with hearing and being heard.

Om Circle- The Om circle is where we will chant collectively for 108 rounds. For 54 rounds half the guests will sit inside the circle receiving the healing frequenicies of Om. This is a deeply powerful experience. It must be felt to be understood. After 54 rounds guests will switch places, and the second group will receive the healing. During the 108 rounds we do not take a pause when chanting Om. Whether in the middle of the circle or outside, everyone is chanting together. The aim of the practice is to keep the chanting going and the vibration strong. Chanting Om raises the vibrations from within, allowing you to feel happier and blissful. It clears out negative energy, purifying the environment, purifying yourself.

Sadhana. Guests are encouraged to do 11 rounds of Om each day for 40 days. This is your personal sadhana and commitment to yourself. Allow the powerful vibrations to open your throat chakra and let you become the most authentic expressive version of yourself.

What to bring: We will gather out in nature at sunset for this practice. Please bring a yoga mat and cushion so you are comfy. Please also bring a pen and journal so you can take notes.

In gratitude and healing for all,

TBS and Yogi P xo
