Sydney Rotary Climate Action Group Takes Off

After a launch last month with the CEO of the Climate Council, Sydney Rotary's Climate Action Group will hold its first online meetup at 5:30pm on Monday 10th August.

Guest speaker at this inaugural meeting will be Patricia Armstrong who is 
Communications Director of Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group (ESRAG) and Chair of ESRAG's Regional Chapter.

Patricia works as an educator for sustainability and is currently completing a doctorate on adolescent leadership for sustainability at RMIT University.

Pat has worked in a number of roles (mostly in the areas of waste and resource recovery, climate change and biodiversity), including management, strategic planning, grant writing, training, evaluation and publication.

Patricia has also served as a board and committee member of several sustainability professional and not-for-profit organisations, helping to develop professional standards for environmental educators and organises conferences, seminars and training programs.
