A quartet from the Greater Sydney Orchestra’s string section comes together for the first program of the Sydney Sessions. Our program opens with Arcangelo Corelli’s calm and reflective “Christmas Concerto”, a respite from the crisis unfolding around us, before diving into Johann Sebastian Bach’s majestic Third Brandenburg Concerto. The ensemble rounds out our debut recital with John Lennon's "Imagine", a personal favourite of the quartet, and a prayer for optimism and hope.
