Sylvie Millard and Manduway live at Brush Turkey Books
Description
Sylvie Millard is an original folk musician with white colonial heritage from the starry wok of Lis Vegas (Lismore, NSW).
After using the slow-cooked method to ponder and record music with darling old friends over several years, Sylvie released a hefty debut double album in January 2026.
Sylvie’s music reflects her relationship with the land and her culture, healing and coming into right relation with people, place and all our ancestors through story, slowly but surely.
Manduway is a Gumbaynggirr and Barkindji singer, songwriter and musician based in Coffs Harbour (Gumbaynggirr). Manduway has been performing for more than 10 years in various bands and found empowerment in writing and performing his own music influenced by his heritage, language and beautiful homeland. His most memorable performances are playing at Giiyong Festival in 2025 and opening for Gumbaynggirr rock band 'Jumbaal Dreamin' in 2023.
