Join us for an afternoon to evening workshop.
Escape the distraction and confusion of the outside world in the refuge of forest meeting the ocean, with the medicine of Cacao, Breathwork, Yoga & Sound.
Embark on a healing journey to your deepest driving desire, gain some tools along the way for the art of remaining in sync with, and be the creator of your destiny.
We each have a unique journey in this life and that destiny is ours to claim. We do so when we fulfil our deepest driving desire, disentangle from our perceived limitations, and continue to choose love over fear.
When we synchronise our desires, our will and our deeds, we tap into an unseen power greater than our own, connect with our highest self, and collectively change the world for the better.
CACAO; allow the medicine of Cacao to ground and nourish you as you open to your heart and tune in to remember your deepest driving desire, the you that you would like to embody.
YOGA; suitable for all levels, you will be guided to gently open and give gratitude to your body, slow the chatter of the mind and begin to unite with your inner being and create harmony within.
BREATH; be guided into deep states of meditation and connect with your intuition through active breathing.
Synchronise your heart, body and mind to the vibration of your deepest driving desire, opening to your ability to make things happen.
SOUND; re-calibrate in deep meditation as the divine vibration of creation resonates through your cells.
Feel the sounds of the universe and the grounding earthy tones of Crystal and Metal Singing Bowls, Purerehua, Rain Pillar, Shamanic Drum & more.

BREATHWORK SAFETY:
While breathwork is beneficial to everybody, parts of this breathwork practice may have contraindications. If you are pregnant, have acute severe illness or disease, heart attack, stroke, epilepsy or have high blood pressure treated with prescription medication, please contact Vanessa by email yoursprirtuslife@gmail.com before the workshop.
For maximum comfort, bring:
- Blanket
- Water bottle
- Yoga mat
- Scarf or something to cover your eyes
- Journal, or pen and paper
- Your favourite mug
Your facilitators are:
Katie Greengrass (The Kakariki Yogini):
Katie has spent almost 2 years in India where she learnt, trained (1,100 official hours) and taught Yoga in a variety of styles.
Since returning to Aotearoa in 2020 she has broadened her offerings to include Cacao Ceremonies & Sound Baths where she continues to evolve and deepen her connection to these amazing tools for growth.
Her passion is combining different offerings and collaborating with those in a similar mindset, using the energy of the day, area and attendees to create unique, uplifting, healing and relaxing experiences, as well as teaching Yoga in a way where all learnings can be taken off the mat and translated into daily life, which is where the real Yoga takes place.
Vanessa Carmody:
Inspired through several years of Vipassana meditation practice and regular courses, involving the seemingly simple (yet not often so easy) practice of attention, becoming a Breathwork Facilitator feels like Dharma to Vanessa.
An advanced Soma Breath instructor currently working towards a masters, Vanessa is passionate about sharing accessible, effective, tools and techniques that can be applied by anyone at will, to enhance better physical, mental, and spiritual health and wellbeing.
