Wed, 17 Sep, 5:45pm - 6:50pm AEST

Event description

During the Synod dinner break, join us for a meal at ADM. You'll have an opportunity to meet other women on Synod and to hear from a panel of experienced Synod participants: Karin Sowada, Evelyn Horton and Tara Sing.

Arrive as soon as you can and we’ll start formalities at 6pm.

Cost: $10 towards dinner

If you’ve not yet RSVPd for our Synod dinner, it’s not too late!

If you want to have dinner provided, please make sure you’ve signed up by 9am tomorrow morning - Tues 16th September – so we can get final numbers to the caterer.

More than 80 women will be in attendance on Wednesday night so, for efficiency, it would be enormously helpful if you could use this site to pay your $10 for dinner.

We want to assure all who’ve communicated dietary requirements that our caterer is able to accommodate all requests with the usual caveat below:

  • Allergy Notice: Our products are made in a kitchen whereby ingredients such as eggs, fish, sesame, peanuts, milk, soy, nuts, tree nuts, gluten, lupin, sulphites and crustaceans are also used. Whilst precautions are taken to separate these ingredients on request, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of these ingredients. It’s important for customers with food allergies to be aware of this risk.

How to get there: Walking from the Wesley Centre, 220 Pitt Street, to the ADM Office on Level 1 of St Andrew’s House, 464-480 Kent Street, takes about 8 minutes.

For those who haven’t been to our space before:

Approaching on foot at street level.

  • Make your way to the main entrance of St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney Square (between Sydney Town Hall and Bathurst Street)

  • If you turn your back to the Cathedral, you’ll be looking directly at our building – St Andrew’s House.

  • The entrances on the left side of the building are for St Andrew’s Cathedral School, but the central entrance with sliding glass doors (just to the right of some shallow steps down from the school entrance) is the entrance you want.

  • Enter through the glass doors, turn left towards the lifts and catch the lift up to Level One.

If you’ve arrived by train, you’ll be approaching at Arcade level – one level below street level.

  • Take Exit 5 out of Town Hall Station. As you go through the ticket barriers you should be able to look up and see a sign that says: “Welcome to Town Hall Square - through to Darling Harbour”. You’ll also see a red Sharetea sign to your right at the top of the arcade.

  • Walk all the way down the arcade and turn left at the food court seating.

  • Turn right after Montbell camping shop and then turn left to find the lifts (If you find yourself heading out theglass doors onto Kent Street, you've gone too far!).

  • Catch the lift up to Level One.
