Systems Sensing for Changemakers
Event description
Systems Sensing for Changemakers
Exploring the Wisdom of the Senses
Join us for an immersive exploration of Systems Sensing, a practice that taps into the innate wisdom of our senses to support change makers working on societal, environmental, and social challenges. This special event celebrates the launch of Foundations of Systems Sensing: An Exploratory Guide to the Sensing Journey Method with Nancy Zamierowski, a co-author and contributors Jax Wechsler and Viv Sung.
Together, we’ll dive into the roots of the practice and its value in navigating complexity, moving beyond the intellect to engage our whole being in sensing and responding to change. Through an experiential activity, we’ll explore how deepening our sensory awareness can unlock new insights, strengthen our capacity for transformation, and help us work more intuitively with living systems.
Come ready to sense, reflect, and connect. We are sensing beings—what wisdom is waiting to be felt?

About Nancy Zamierowski (Zam)
Nancy is a catalyst, problem solver, and systemic coach, blending her passion for care and well-being with a knack for finding unconventional solutions. Rooted in the belief—echoing Ervin László—that understanding any single challenge requires seeing the broader patterns and relationships, she takes a holistic, generalist approach to navigating complex systems. She supports leaders and organisations in moving through the fear of the unknown, helping them realize they don’t need to have everything “figured out” before taking inspired action. She is pursuing a PhD in Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies, deepening her exploration of systems sensing and embodied leadership and decision making. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Systems, has helped catalyze four social enterprises, and has worked with the UNDP and other social innovation initiatives.
About Viv Sung
Viv is a facilitator, educator and visual storyteller passionate about guiding individual and collective change to restore wellbeing and right relationship with our living world. Her work is rooted in the belief that regeneration is not only ecological but deeply relational, grounded in heart-centred and restorative ways of being. Combining her deep curiosity with expertise in leadership and inner development, creative and systems thinking, regenerative development, systemic constellations and energy healing, she stewards pathways to well-being. She believes flourishing futures require more than technological solutions—calling for a revival of heart, imagination, and spirit.
About Jax Wechsler
Jax is a trauma-informed facilitator, educator, and coach passionate about change, inner development, and enabling better futures for individuals, society, and the planet. A life-long learner (and un-learner), her areas of interest and expertise include neuroscience and polyvagal theory, somatics, regenerative development, social innovation, earth-based spirituality, resilience, creativity, and collective and intergenerational trauma. She strongly believes that inner development and new ways of being, grounded in inter-being with nature, will help people meet current social and environmental challenges, to thrive and flourish. Jax is committed to nurturing inner and outer sovereignty, supporting individuals and communities to reclaim their agency and wellbeing in the face of complex systems.
