Where you can become certified as a First Aider or Renew your CPR component.
The training will be conducted in the Events Space level 13 and is a full day training from
9 am - 5 pm
Your contribution as a First Aider ensures the continued safety and wellbeing of our people in our workplace.
FAQ
Do I have to do a resuscitation course every year? You are not legally required to complete a resuscitation course each year. You may be required to take an annual CPR refresher course in order to comply with our requirements.
I completed a First Aid certificate a few years ago, do I have to do the whole course again? Yes, first aid techniques and training are frequently changed so we do ask that all students do the full course when being re-trained. The full first aid should be refreshed every 3 years at a minimum
My First Aid certificate expired 2 months ago, am I still current? Unfortunately, no, you will need to complete another first aid course.
Why does my certificate need to be renewed every three years? It is a requirement in most states and territories that a workplace first aider must renew their first aid certificate at least every three years to ensure that first aid skills are current. This and the fact that most skills are lost, and knowledge forgotten after this time frame, so it's best to re-fresh. It is clearly stated in the National Code of Practice that first aid must be refreshed every 3 years
What is expected of me after the course? CRE will pay for your training in return you will join our First Aid family and your mobile contact details will be displayed on our floors in case of any emergency and/or assistance is needed.
