Welcome to TABOO - The Opening Night Gala of Newcastle Kink Festival!

Join us for TABOO, the official launch of the Newcastle Kink Festival, running from July 4th to July 13th. Step into the unknown, embrace the unexpected, and revel in the night that everyone will be talking about. 

Date: July 4
Time: Ticketed Entry from 7pm to 10pm for exclusive access, Open to public after 10pm
Location: Bernie's Bar, Newcastle West
Dress Code: Formalwear with a Kinky Twist, Masks, Suits with rope, corsets, collars and leashes, bodycages are more than welcome.

What to Expect:

From 7pm to 10pm step into a night of kink, glamour, and unforgettable moments. With a ticketed entry, you’ll gain guaranteed access to Bernie's, where the enchantment unfolds. After 10pm, the gates open to all, but those with a ticket will always have a spot in the heart of the magic.

Coat Check

Upon arrival, be greeted by our pups coat check to take your overcoats.

Tray Service

Our roving kink waiters will be offering delectable snacks throughout the night.

Photography

The night will be captured by our professional photographer, ensuring your memories of TABOO are as vivid as your wildest dreams.

Performances & Live Auction

Throughout the night the stage comes alive with mesmerizing performances and a live auction! This is your chance to see some beautiful performances and win some wonderful items from some of the wonderful makers and creators from Newcastle and Beyond.

DJs & Dancing

From 9pm, our DJs take you on an auditory journey, spinning tunes that will make your heart race and your feet move. The beats will pulse through the night, weaving a tapestry of sound that binds us all in the magic of TABOO.

Tickets

Tickets are priced for accessibility, at $20 for students and concessions, and $25 for general admission. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary night.
