Join South East Local Land Services for this workshop, where we’ll show you how to use tools like splatter guns and knapsack sprayers with high-concentration herbicide mixes, which are ideal for use in challenging terrain and sensitive environments, and can reduce off-target damage when used correctly.

Originally brought to Australia as a garden plant, lantana is an aggressive, thicket-forming woody weed which has invaded pastures, woodlands, and rainforests - choking out native vegetation and posing a health risk to livestock and people.

In the South East region, managing lantana is critical to protecting biodiversity, especially for vulnerable species like warty Zieria (Zieria tuberculata). Whether you’re dealing with lantana on your property or part of a community group, this session will equip you with the knowledge and techniques to make a real impact.
