Training for Respect: Free Training for Victorian RTOs and TAFEs

Enhance your organisation’s capacity to foster safe and respectful environments with Training for Respect, two face to face sessions on the same day, designed for supervisors and future leaders in TAFEs and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across Victoria. These interactive 2 workshops (held on the same day) build on online learning modules, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies to prevent workplace gender-based violence and promote lasting cultural change.

Morning Session: Building Safer RTOs – Foundations for Preventing Workplace Gendered Violence

Duration: hours - Starts at 9.30am
Description:
Gain foundational insights into the key drivers of workplace gendered violence and explore actionable strategies to create safer, more equitable environments. This session combines theory with engaging discussions and activities, encouraging participants to connect professional practices with practical change.

Afternoon Session: Taking Action – Implementing Systemic Change in Your RTO

Duration: 3 hours - starts at 1230pm/1pm ending around 3pm
Description:
Learn how to translate learning into meaningful, long-term action. This session empowers participants to design action plans that integrate systems, structures, and governance processes essential for preventing workplace gendered violence, positioning your organisation as a leader in cultural transformation.
