Tai Chi in the Park
Event description
Join us for an immersive 7-week experience where we'll dive into the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan. This technique originates from martial arts developed in China thousands of years ago. It is a gentle practice designed to cultivate harmony and balance in both mind and body and is often referred to as "Meditation in Motion."
In this event, you will:
- Experience the transformative power of slowing down, embracing the present moment, and practicing mindfulness.
- Gain greater balance and stability both physically and mentally.
- Discover techniques to ground yourself and cultivate a deep sense of relaxation.
Meeting area at the field on the corner of East Minnehaha Parkway and Woodlawn Blvd. There is free street parking and a free lot next to the Pickleball courts near the community center.
Class meeting dates are below, in the event of inclement weather the class will extend additional Wednesdays to accommodate.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, things you would wear for a light workout that allow for a wide range of motion.
You guide for this series is Anne Therese (A-T) who is a Holistic Energy Practitioner, Tai Chi Instructor, Nature Healing Facilitator and Pickleball Instructor. She cultivates a nurturing and empowering environment for personal transformation, healing, connecting with your body and energy on a deeper level.
