Guiding you on your movement journey.

A small group practise, face to face with an experienced instructor.
9 weeks of Tai Chi.
No experience needed.

Sundays 9.30 am to 10.30 am
Sunday 26 July 2026 to Sunday 27 Sept 2026 (not Sunday 30 August!)

Early bird pricing 10% discount until Wednesday 22 July 2026.

Casual class ticket sales close 8pm day prior and are available for the whole term. Try a class before you commit to the full term to see if it is right for you.

There will be four tickets available to choose from.

1 for the full 9 sessions (if you choose this one do not add any of the other options!) - Green Prescription, Unwaged or Waged.
Early bird tickets until time runs out and then full price.
If you would prefer casual bookings that is also available on a class by class basis - check the date you want to attend. More dates show up as the term progresses.
Try it and if you want to come for the term after that talk to me about a special price to refelct what you have already paid.

Refund policy

Refunds: per the terms and conditions for cancellation terms below. If a class cannot run then all students receive a refund on a % basis of classes missed. If the student cannot attend due to health reasons per covid policy AND has notified in advance of class start time, then a refund will be made on a % basis of classes missed. If possible refunds will be issued after any affected class (subject to Humanitix capability). In any case, all missed classes will be counted at the end of term/series and all students will be able to receive a refund if not previously issued. I acknowledge that: 1. I agree to the payment and cancellation terms Cancellations of the entire booking at least 1 day prior will receive a 100% refund less any fees for processing. If you need to cancel your booking please do so directly on the ticket booking service. You can cancel yourself up to 1 day prior to the ticket date and time. If paying by invoice any unpaid accounts after 2 weeks will incur an admin fee of $15 and interest weekly equivalent to the 3 month rate for term deposits at BNZ bank and be referred to debt collection after 3 months. Any costs incurred in debt collection are the added to the outstanding balance. 2. I agree to not attend classes if unwell with covid or covid like or respiratory symptoms, or if I am a household contact of a covid positive person or a person with a respiratory illness. Can't make it to class because you are sick or injured? Refunds are available for any classes you are not able to attend for this reason IF you advise by email before the class start time. If you need to cancel and it is less than 1 day prior to the workshop please contact organiser taichi4healthdn@gmail.com to advise and a refund will be given less any ticketing or payment fees paid to if applicable as outlined above. You must advise each time you are not able to attend. Refunds may not be paid until the end of term. Your enrolment can be transferred to another person at no additional cost but please contact in advance to arrange. 3. I agree to leave a class if I display covid or covid like or respiratory symptoms No refund is payable in this situation. 4. COVID - 19 - all attendees agree to participate safely and as requested Classes run in person and if class is unable to run due to instructor illness or unavailability then students can have a refund for that class. Refunds will be paid at the end of the term for all classes unable to run in person due to instructor illness or unavailability. 5. I understand that this workshop involves physical activity and may involve paired work in taiji applications or other exercises I understand that taiji (tai chi) is a martial art. I will act responsibly, listen to all instructions, and work within my limits. I will not participate in exercises that I am not physically able to carry out. I will not hold the instructor responsible for any accidents or injuries.

Kate is a qualified instructor and a life member of the World Tai Chi Boxing Association (WTBA) and has been a practitioner for over 35 years and teaching independently for over 25 years.

Kate has a special interest in teaching people with disabilities and adapting forms and qigongs to suit the needs of the people participating in a class. Tai chi has allowed Kate to have an exercise routine and to live a healthy life that is relatively pain-free.
