Hooray! It's been a big year, and we're here for each other. Join our local startup community to celebrate - and say see ya later to - 2026, over drinks, nibbles and startup pitches.

"What makes this a pitch and mix extravaganza?" we hear you ask...

Our hosts at Whangārei Startups (a chapter of Tai Tokerau Startups) were inspired by the Flying Kiwi Angels' event at this year's Auckland Startup Week - 30x3x3.

So we're blatantly (and with their enthusiastic consent) copying their idea with 15x3x3.

Why only 15? It's not for lack of talent, it's to give us plenty of time for socialising, in between the pitches.

3 x blocks of 5 founders, delivering a 3 minute 'showcase not investment' pitch.

We'd certainly put the money to good use. At this stage we're raising sponsorship to pay for pitch coaching for the lucky 15, and to give us a bit more of a catering budget, as it's an end of year celebration.
