Whether you are actively recruiting quality students and graduates or keen to raise your organisation's profile for future recruitment, the University of Canterbury's Business and Arts Careers Fair is ideal for you!

The Business and Arts Careers Fair allows you to meet prospective student and graduate employees, introduce and market your organisation and to inform students of employment and career opportunities within your firm.

It will contribute to increasing awareness of, and raising, your company’s profile on campus, enable you to provide UC students with your knowledge and advice as well as distribute your company's recruitment information.

Registration for the fair is only confirmed once payment is received in full.

Registrations close Friday 23 February

Once registration has been completed a link to the Information Pack will be included in the confirmation email. This will include all the information you need for on the day.

This year, we are starting the fairs 30mins earlier to specifically invite those with concerns around crowds to attend within a 'Quiet time'.


What are my/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available on campus and a drop off zone can be utilised. A parking pass is required and can be collected from the helpdesk or carpark at the venue upon arrival.

What is included with my stand?

  • Each stand is 2.4m wide x 1.2m deep and includes velcro-receptive walls (2-3 sides), 1 table, tablecloth, 2 chairs and wireless internet access.
  • Drop off zone close to the venue and allocated car parking within the campus.
  • Assistance from student volunteers
  • Company listing in event collateral
  • Catering at the Careers Fairs. This includes tea, coffee, juice and water throughout the event, with afternoon tea available in the break-away area.

What's the refund policy?

Cancellations must be received in writing no later Friday 23rd February. Cancellations on or before this date will be accepted with a 100% refund excluding Humanitix fees. Regrettably, cancellations after this date will not receive a refund. Cancellations/Refunds can be requested through Humanitix.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, up until 10 working days before the event (Tuesday 5th March). Printed material will not be edited after this date. Online material will be updated where possible. You can edit your registration information on Humanitix.

Careers Fair package

Each site is approximately 2.4m wide x 1.2m deep. You can choose your site when registering. Due to space restrictions, a maximum of three representatives may staff each exhibition site.

Each exhibition site will include a table and two chairs. Student volunteers will be available to assist for the duration of the event. Publicity of your attendance will be organised on the student Careers Fairs website, targeted emails to students, UC Events pages, LCD campus screens, posters and in the information flyer for students.
