我在支亞干部落寫作 Writing (in) Ciyakang

從台北回到花蓮的支亞干部落，太魯閣族酷兒作家 Apyang Imiq 程廷的返鄉之路不僅是一次地理上的遷徙，更是一場重新「進入」部落的歷程。回到家鄉，他重新學習族語，拿起鋤頭走入山林，感受自己的身心被部落再次塑形，也從與匿名都市不同的人際網絡中，尋找「原住民」與「同志」等不同身分的安放之處。

《我長在打開的樹洞》和《大腿山》是程廷兩部在返鄉不同時期完成的作品。在2021年出版並榮獲台灣文學獎蓓蕾獎的散文作品《我長在打開的樹洞》中，程廷以細膩的文字記錄下初返部落的摸索，以及他如何透過身體的勞動，與這片土地重新建立血脈相連的羈絆。而2025年出版的《大腿山》，則以小說的虛構時空，探索部落的情感、慾望與愛。

本次「台灣季·在世界之間」活動，程廷將親自來到紐西蘭飛地，與我們分享他的寫作，以及他和部落關係的流轉。

Returning from Taipei to the Ciyakang community in Hualien, Truku queer writer Apyang Imiq’s journey home is more than a geographical migration; it is also a process of reconnecting with his community.

Back in his hometown, he began relearning his Indigenous language, working the land in the mountains, and felt his body and mind being reshaped by the community. Through close-knit community relationships distinct from the anonymity of the city, he also sought places where his different identities—including being Indigenous and being queer—could find a sense of belonging.

𝙄 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 (我長在打開的樹洞) and 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 (大腿山) are two works Apyang completed at different stages after he returned home. Published in 2021 and awarded Best New Author at the Taiwan Literature Awards, the essay collection 𝙄 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 delicately documents his early attempts to find his place upon returning home, as well as how, through physical labor, he rebuilt a bond with the land. Published in 2025, 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 turns to the fictional world of the novel to explore the emotions, desires, and forms of love that unfold within the community.

As part of #TaiwanAcrossCities, Apyang will join us in person to share his writing and discuss the evolving relationship between himself and his community.
